1. Picking Your Team
All players are listed on the right hand side of this page.
A) Your team's value cannot exceed £ 50 million.
B) You must pick no more than two players from any one Premier League club.
C) Your team must have one Goalkeeper, four Defenders, three or four Midfielders and two or three Strikers.
2. Players
Your 11 selected players will win or loose points for every match they play in the Premier League,FA Cup, Carling Cup, UEFA Champions League
(excluding qualifiers) or UEFA Cup (excluding qualifiers) as the season unfolds.
2. Transfers
During the season you will also be able to make a number of transfers to ensure you have the best chance of scoring the highest possible points total.
You can make transfers to your team during each of the two transfer windows.
First Transfer Window
09.00am on Tuesday 7th October 2008 to 12.00 noon on Saturday 18th October 2008
Transfers will take effect from eligible games played on Saturday 18th October 2008.
Second Transfer Window
09.00am on Thursday 29th January 2009 to 12.15pm on Saturday 7th February 2009
Transfers will take effect from eligible games played on Saturday 7th February 2009.
During each transfer window, you can bring in UP TO THREE players and must transfer out the same number. So, you can make on, two, or three changes during the transfer windows (but no more than three changes in total, otherwise your entry will bwe void). When you bring in a new player you do NOT get the points he has scored so far. Likewise, points scored by players you transfer out are frozen and remain on your overall score.
You must always remain within your £ 50 million budget and your team must not have more than two players from any one Premier League Club. Remember that some players move Premier League Clubs in real life they will remain with their original club for the purpose of of the game.
4. Scoring
Goal Scored = 5
Scoring three or more goals per match = 5
Clean Sheet (keeper/defender) = 5
Clean Sheet (midfielder) = 2
Conceded more than one goal (keeper/defendr) = -1
Penalty save (keeper) = 3
Booking = 1
Sent Off = - 3
Star Man in Sun Sport's player ratings = 5
Awarded seven or more in Sun Sport's Player Ratings = 3
Top Position in News of the World's Team of the Day* = 8
The remaining seven players in the News of the World team of the Day* = 2
* The news of the world will publish their Dream team of the Day each Sunday based on the previous day's Saturday Matches.
5. Payment
Each entry must be in before the 9th August 2008 with full payment of £ 10.00
